This ambitious project, jointly developed by the Super Gen Group (home to the Edward Gaming Club) and Zunxuan Industrial Co. showcases Minhang Districts dedication to becoming a global center for eSports and cultural innovation.
With an investment of 7 billion yuan ($975.3 million) Hops On Park aims to transcend boundaries, both physical and cultural. Expected to be completed by 2025 this multifaceted complex goes beyond being a building; it is set to become an iconic landmark. Featuring an eSports competition hall, a state of the art shopping center a five star hotel, well as dedicated areas, for intellectual property cultural innovation, extreme sports, industrial research, digital technology, education and offices – the park strives to embody the future in its entirety.”As the construction continues we have already achieved milestones. The main structure of the north B Block has reached its point. We have successfully paved the foundation pit of the strategically located A Block, which is right next, to the subway monitoring zone.
Apart from this feat at the expo the Minhang District presented a comprehensive plan called “eSports Industry Development Plan (2023 2025).” This strategic blueprint outlines our districts goal of making Hops On Park a leading hub in the Yangtze River Delta. Qiu Jitang, who is the secretary of the Super Gen think tank envisions an integrated industrial chain for Minhangs eSports gaming industry by 2025. This vision will be supported by both Hops On Park in the north and Grand NeoBay sci tech innovation zone in the south. The primary areas of focus include gaming competitions, new cultural and entertainment activities and continuous advancements, in technology.
