PSG Enters the World of Esports Through Quest Esports Collaboration

The French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has recently announced its venture into the world of esports through a partnership with the renowned organization Quest Esports. Quest Esports specializes in the game Dota 2. Together, they have formed PSG Quest, a team that will be jointly managed by both entities and will make its debut in the tournament later this month.

This announcement comes shortly after PSG ended its alliance with LGD Gaming, resulting in the closure of the brand. The collaboration between the organization and PSG began in 2018. Did not continue with contract renewal, leading to new esports partnerships.

PSG has revealed some details about their collaboration with Quest Gaming, an organization based in Qatar and Turkey that has gained recognition for its teams in Dota 2 and PUBG Mobile. Quest Gaming boasts a roster of influencers. Provides educational programs for content creation and esports. Furthermore, they are partnered with the Qatar Football Federation. Actively participate in government initiatives while maintaining relationships with companies like Amazon, Shelter Group and Dell.

While specific information about this partnership is limited, it is expected that PSG will follow a similar approach to their previous engagements within the esports industry. PSG will contribute by utilizing its name and brand to provide financial support to the team. Quest Gaming will be responsible for handling the sporting operations. Additionally, the team will have access to the PSG Studio facilities located at the club’s headquarters in Boulogne Billancourt, Paris.

This talented team will proudly wear the club’s distinctive colors in the most prominent video game competitions, marking another step towards PSG’s ambition to establish itself in the world’s esports elite. With this exciting chapter, the club remains dedicated to providing captivating and memorable entertainment for its global audience.

It is worth mentioning that this partnership adds to PSG’s existing collaborations in esports. They have agreements with Talon Esports in League of Legends and Tundra Esports in Rocket League. Apart from esports, PSG has ties with the State of Qatar since Qatar Sports Investments acquired the football club in 2011 as a subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority.
